27th Winter Fireworks Festival

Summary

An event where a fantastical scene unfolds against the snowy backdrop of Atsuma Town in Hokkaido. Starting at 7:00 PM, 1,500 shells will be launched, adding vivid colors to the clear winter night sky. The highlight is the contrast created by the massive burning of zodiac characters emerging on the snowfield and 5,000 ice lanterns. The launch site is around "Kobushi no Yu Atsuma," and while modest in scale, the production is well worth seeing. The venue also offers local specialties such as "Jingisukan Lantern-yaki" (grilled lamb), providing a heartwarming experience for both body and soul.
