Summary
The 'Aomori Nebuta Festival' is held annually from August 2 to 7 in Aomori City, Aomori Prefecture. The Aomori Fireworks Festival, which decorates the final day of the Nebuta Festival, is a unique Aomori summer tradition found nowhere else: award-winning nebuta floats from the festival parade on the sea while large fireworks bloom overhead. With large-scale fireworks launched one after another, including a finale of super-giant star mines and 2-shaku shells, it is a spectacular display.
