With the majestic Kitakami River as the stage, approximately 10,000 shells of various types—including underwater fireworks and 2-shaku shells—color the summer night sky. Various food stalls are set up, and the event can be enjoyed alongside performances and live shows. A cooperation fee of 500 yen per person (elementary school age and above) is required for entry to the viewing area.
