The 'Oshu Mizusawa Fireworks Festival,' a beloved summer tradition in Oshu City, Iwate, was renewed as the 'Oshu Fireworks Festival' in 2022 with a new date and venue. The event rotates among different areas of Oshu City each year. In 2026, the parking area near the Oshu Isawa Canoe Course will again serve as the viewing venue.
