Summary

A new fireworks festival, 'Takata Matsubara Fireworks,' will be held on October 11, 2026 (Sun) at Takata Matsubara Sports Park in Rikuzentakata City, Iwate. Local volunteers from Rikuzentakata have formed a new executive committee for planning and management. The event is fully paid seating with unreserved seats, various reserved seats, 'Drive View' allowing you to enter the venue by car, and 'Camp Site' available for overnight stays from the day before—offering a diverse range of seating options to suit different needs. Over 15,000 shells can be enjoyed in your own preferred way. The food area features high-quality gourmet selections centered on carefully chosen vendors from local Rikuzentakata and the Sanriku region.
