Summary

A fireworks festival held on the last Saturday of May each year at Kinshuko Lake in Nishiwaga Town, Iwate. The event features the local 'Yumoto Oni Kenbai' (demon sword dance) and other performances on the lakeside stage at dusk, creating a magical atmosphere. Visitors can also enjoy time in nature with boat, SUP, and kayak experiences on the calm lake surface. The finale is the fireworks display starting at 19:45, with shells from size 4 to size 10 and Star Mines launched one after another, brilliantly coloring the night sky and lake surface for approximately 45 minutes. The launched fireworks reflect beautifully on the lake's surface, creating an impressive and memorable night for all who attend. The event venue is around Kawajiri Lakeside Park, close to the Yuda Government Building, and attracts many spectators each year.
