Summary

The 11th Rakuten Eagles Fireworks take place at Rakuten Mobile Park Miyagi on Monday, July 20 (a public holiday). About 20 minutes after the game against Seibu ends, roughly 2,000 shells rise over the stadium with team-original effects. The 'Eagles Kids' Summer Vacation' program adds a beach, pool and water slides, letting fans combine pro baseball with summer leisure in one day.

Overview

The night game's afterglow carries straight into the show: some 2,000 fireworks climb above the field shortly after the final out, with Eagles-style staging that only a ballpark can host. The event opens at 16:00, and the kids' summer program turns the front plaza into a beach and the green field into a pool area with water slides. There is no parking at the stadium, so plan to arrive on foot from Sendai Station (20 min), by shuttle bus (about 8 min) or from Miyaginohara Station (5 min).

Info for International Visitors

Best arrival time

The fireworks begin about 20 minutes after the game ends. Being back in your seat 30–45 minutes before that lets you move from baseball to fireworks without leaving your spot. There is no parking at the venue, so the shuttle bus from Sendai Station or Miyaginohara Station (5 minutes on foot) is the convenient choice.

With kids

At the summer-vacation pool and beach areas, keep children under constant supervision. It gets dark by fireworks time, so bright clothing and a pre-agreed meeting point help if anyone gets separated.

Photography tips

The fireworks spread above the field, so both infield and outfield seats give workable compositions. During the fast-moving sequences, video or burst mode earns its keep. Skip the flash to stay considerate of those around you.

Payment

Viewing is tied to the game, so check ticket conditions on the team's official website. Bring coins as well for the stadium shops and food stalls. There is no parking at the venue.
