Summary

The 'Natsu Sta!' finale fireworks close out the Rakuten Eagles' summer event at Rakuten Mobile Park Miyagi on August 23. After the game, about 2,000 shells launch from the Sendai City Athletic Stadium side under the 2026 theme 'STARLIGHT GALAXY', with a giant rocket installation, planetarium-style effects and a sea of red lumi-cyalume in the stands.

Overview

'Natsu Sta!' is the Eagles' summer-vacation stadium event, and its final day ends under fireworks. Some 2,000 shells rise from the Sendai City Athletic Stadium side once the game wraps, while star-and-space imagery built around the 2026 theme washes over the whole ballpark. The lumi-cyalume glow turns the stands red, and rocket and planetarium-style installations shift the atmosphere into something cosmic. With no parking on site, come by train or bus — the park is a 20-minute walk or 8-minute shuttle from Sendai Station and 5 minutes from Miyaginohara Station.

Info for International Visitors

Best arrival time

The fireworks follow the end of the game, so it is safest to stay settled in your seat from the late innings on — be back in place 30–45 minutes before the show. With no parking at the venue, the shuttle bus from Sendai Station or Miyaginohara Station (5 minutes on foot) is the convenient route.

With kids

The stadium lights go down for the later sequences, so hold your child's hand on the way back to your seats and agree on a meeting point just in case.

Photography tips

Pairing the themed light show with the fireworks makes a picture only a stadium can give. Including the red glow of the lumi-cyalume seats adds the feel of summer's last night. Keep the flash off.

Payment

Viewing is tied to the game, so check ticket conditions on the team's official website. Bring coins for the stadium shops as well. There is no parking at the venue.
