A festival held every year on August 16 in the Nakasen area of Daisen City, Akita Prefecture, the birthplace of the 'Donpan Bushi' folk song. At the Donpan Square venue, multiple large dancing circles form, and on the special stage, dancers known as 'Donpan Musume' perform to liven up the festival. The finale features fireworks choreographed with music and narration.
