Summary

Held in Yokote City, Akita Prefecture, this is the oldest fireworks festival in the prefecture. A traditional event that began in the Taisho era and celebrates its 101st edition this year. Spectacular starmines and other large-scale fireworks are launched into the mid-autumn night sky, drawing crowds of fireworks enthusiasts from within and outside the prefecture. The display begins at 7:00 PM. Paid seating is available, which includes a program, a commemorative gift, and a dedicated parking ticket.
