A fireworks festival in Oishida Town, Kitamurayama District, Yamagata Prefecture, featuring must-see large-scale fireworks. The festival began to celebrate the completion of the Ohashi Bridge spanning the Mogami River and has approximately 90 years of history. Approximately 3,000 shells are launched, centered around large star mines. Highlights include the Townspeople's Shell filled with the thoughts and wishes of all residents, and a five-shot rapid succession of No. 20 shells. In addition to creative fireworks that combine pyrotechnics with music, the festival also features a portable shrine performance.
