Summary

The Yonezawa Sengoku Fireworks Festival, Japan's only fireworks festival themed around the Sengoku (Warring States) period, is held at the Yonezawa Municipal Baseball Stadium. Characterized by highly entertaining content that lets you experience the realism of history with all five senses through powerful performances, the inaugural event last year attracted approximately 18,000 visitors. This year, top-class pyrotechnicians who have received the Prime Minister's Award will again participate, with digital star mines and drone-powered performances illuminating the night sky. The event is structured so that the fireworks feel like part of a story through collaborations with samurai corps performances, lighting, and music. Additionally, the "Yonezawa Meat Battle" where visitors can enjoy Yonezawa's local gourmet, children's events, and a "Montedio Yamagata Fan Event" by the local soccer team
