Daigo Town Fireworks Festival — Matsunuma Bridge & Disaster Prevention Roadside Station Completion Commemorative Event (Tentative)

Summary

A fireworks festival in Daigo Town, Kuji District, Ibaraki Prefecture. The festival had been suspended since 2020 (Reiwa 2) due to recovery work from the 2019 (Reiwa 1) East Japan Typhoon damage and the COVID-19 pandemic, but will return for the first time in 7 years to commemorate the completion of river construction near the central city area, the construction of Matsunuma Bridge over the Kuji River, and the October opening of 'Roadside Station Okukuji Daigo WEST' in fiscal 2026 (Reiwa 8). Previously held during the August Obon period, the event will now take place during the fall leisure season.
