A summer tradition of Nasushiobara City, Tochigi Prefecture, the Nasuno Furusato Fireworks Festival returns after a two-year hiatus. Under the theme "Grand fireworks in the night sky for the children of the future," this biennial fireworks festival is created by citizens and townspeople coming together as one. The theme for this year's festival, featuring approx. 20,000 shells lighting up the night sky, is "A Night to Be Proud of This Town." The venue, Nakagawa Riverside Sports Park, is now a paid area, and a marché with food and drinks will be held inside. With advance purchase, you can enjoy delicious food alongside the spectacular fireworks.
