Summary

A large-scale summer festival held annually on the last Saturday of July in Tsumagoi Village, Agatsuma District, Gunma Prefecture. The festival finale features approx. 1,800 shells that vividly color the clear night sky of Tsumagoi. The venue is Tsumagoi Village Tōbu Elementary School, with various events starting from 11:00 AM. A diverse program includes a trout-catching contest, taiko drum performances, and a demonstration by the Shinshu Sanada Matchlock Corps. There are also booths selling local specialties such as cabbage, where visitors can enjoy shopping.
