Summary

A popular event held at Lake Haruna in Takasaki City, Gunma Prefecture, attracting approx. 8,000 visitors annually. Skyrockets and underwater fireworks perform together, coloring the summer night sky. Approx. 1,500 shells are launched from the lake, with the giant star mines and underwater fireworks being particularly spectacular. Lake Haruna is surrounded by a caldera rim, providing powerful acoustic effects. Note that traffic restrictions begin at 5:00 PM, so early arrival is recommended. In case of severe weather, the event will be postponed to the following week, Friday, August 14.
