Summary

The Takasaki Grand Fireworks Festival held in Takasaki City, Gunma Prefecture, features approximately 15,000 shells—one of the largest displays in northern Kanto—that light up the night sky. In addition to the combined spectacle of 'floats,' 'portable shrines,' and 'fireworks,' the festival also features the unique 'giant daruma portable shrine' and 'creative daruma portable shrines' that are unique to the Takasaki Festival, offering distinctive performances not found at other festivals. Additionally, at the Hospitality Square, local restaurants set up tent stalls under the theme 'Kaiun Takasaki Shokudo' (Lucky Takasaki Dining), allowing visitors to enjoy local cuisine alongside the fireworks.
