Summary

Fireworks are launched on the first day of the two-day Tanabata Festival held in Ogawa Town, Saitama Prefecture. The festival begins at 3 PM, and as bamboo decorations adorn the town, visitors can enjoy one of the best Yosakoi dance performances in northern Kanto, float parades, handmade washi paper demonstrations, and more, experiencing the region's traditions and culture. Merchandise featuring the mascot character 'Sutamu-chan' is also sold, adding to the festive atmosphere. In case of stormy weather, only the fireworks will be postponed to the following day, Sunday the 26th.
