Summary

The Futtsu Citizens' Fireworks Festival was launched in 2015 (Heisei 27) with the vision of "holding a fireworks festival by the hands of the citizens." Marking its 11th edition in 2026, the festival carries the "Tokyo Bay Mouth Road Construction Promotion" in its title—just as the original "Futtsu Fireworks Festival" did 60 years ago, when it was held by dream-filled pioneers—and aims to be a festival that expresses the dreams and hopes of the region and its citizens. Held at Futtsu Beach, the festival features underwater fireworks and coordinated sound-and-light displays whose beauty is well worth seeing. Enjoy the fireworks while cooling off in the evening sea breeze of Tokyo Bay.
