Summary
Every night from August 1 (Sat) to August 17 (Mon), 2026, approximately 150 shells of fireworks are launched from Kominato Fishing Port in Minamiboso, beautifully illuminating the summer night sky. Launched from Kominato Fishing Port, they can also be viewed while sitting on the beach at Uchiura Beach near JR Awa-Kominato Station. There is no designated viewing area, so you can enjoy them freely from any spot you like. The event attracts many tourists as well as local residents.
