A fireworks display held annually in autumn at Kameyama Lake in Kimitsu City, Chiba. Kameyama Lake is a dam lake in the Boso mountains formed by damming the Obitsu River, a quiet scenic spot surrounded by lush green hills. Against the backdrop of nature and in the clear air, the sound of fireworks echoes through the mountains, creating a powerful and popular spectacle. Mainly featuring large shells (shaku-dama and 8-sun shells), fireworks are launched over 30 minutes, with a wide variety coloring the night sky above Kameyama Lake.
