Summary

This fireworks festival is held simultaneously with the Toda Bridge Fireworks Festival in Toda City, Saitama Prefecture, on the opposite bank of the Arakawa River. One of the largest fireworks displays in Tokyo, approximately 15,000 shells are launched from both banks. The festival is packed with highlights, including the annual 'Artistic Shells' crafted by Japan's top pyrotechnicians, Tokyo's largest shaku-goshaku-dama (size 15) shells, and the grand finale featuring the wide star mine 'Sky Niagara.' With the launch site located close to the spectator area, the deep, resonant sound that reverberates through the body is also one of the festival's signature thrills.
