Summary

Held in Okutama Town, Tokyo, the Okutama Noryo Fireworks Festival is an event with a rare location in the city, where you can enjoy fireworks launched amidst the natural surroundings of mountains. Approximately 1,000 shells launched from the summit of Mount Atago vividly color the night sky. At the concurrently held festivals of Oku-Hikawa Shrine and Haguro-Mita Shrine, you can also enjoy traditional lion dances and mikoshi parades, with the chance to experience local culture being another attraction.
