The 'Tokyo Bay Grand Fireworks Festival' makes its comeback after approximately 11 years in celebration of the 80th anniversaries of Chuo City and Minato City. The launch site will be offshore from Harumi Pier in Tokyo Port, with approximately 12,000 shells scheduled to color the autumn night sky. First held in 1988, the event had long been beloved as one of Tokyo's premier fireworks festivals alongside the Sumida River Fireworks Festival, but was suspended after 2015 due to the construction of the Tokyo Olympic and Paralympic athletes' village. The revived event will be fully ticketed, with no standing viewing on sidewalks or similar areas. Admission fees range from 5,000 to 10,000 yen, with a total of 21 viewing areas including Harumi Pier Park and Odaiba Seaside Park. At priority venues for residents of Chuo City, Minato City, and Koto City (partial), residents of each city can apply for their own city's venue.
