The fireworks display of the Kurihama Perry Festival, held in Yokosuka City, Kanagawa Prefecture, commemorating the landing of Commodore Perry's Black Ships fleet at Kurihama. From 7:30 PM, approx. 7,000 shells will light up the night sky over a period of about 30 minutes. During the daytime, numerous grand events such as the Kaikoku Bazaar and the Commodore Perry Landing Commemoration Ceremony are also held, and the entire town is filled with a festive atmosphere that visitors will want to savor.
