Summary
The Kosui Festival Fireworks Display kicks off 'Lake Ashi Summer Festival Week,' held in Hakone Town, Ashigarashimo District, Kanagawa Prefecture. The fireworks launch begins at 8:00 PM from Moto-Hakone Bay. The fireworks reflected on the lake's surface create a magical scene. At the Kosui Festival, a traditional ceremony is held in which the chief priest of Hakone Shrine boards a sacred offering boat and presents offerings to the Kuzuryu deity. The festival also features the Omikoshi Togyo (portable shrine procession) and the Kosui Festival Offering Procession.
