A historic fireworks festival in Sagamihara City, Kanagawa Prefecture, that began in 1948 (Showa 23). Against the backdrop of the vast natural beauty of Lake Sagami, approx. 4,000 shells brilliantly illuminate the night sky. The program features a rich variety of fireworks including star mines, 1.5-shaku shells, 1-shaku shells, and No. 8 shells, characterized by a composition that combines power and beauty. Another attraction is the ability to simultaneously enjoy traditional local events such as 'Kojobayashi' (lake festival music).
