Summary
A community-focused fireworks festival held in Minamiuonuma City, Niigata Prefecture. The Shiozawa Festival (Sumiyoshi Shrine Grand Festival) takes place on Tuesday, July 14 and Wednesday, July 15, and the fireworks launched on Thursday, July 16 as the festival's grand finale are also known as a ritual for warding off evil spirits and celebrating 60th birthdays by local residents. With the venue located along the Uono River, the fireworks reflected on the water's surface are a recommended sight.
