As the finale of the Nou Grand Summer Festival, about 2,000 shells set the sea surface and night sky glowing as one, and the event draws about 15,000 visitors each year. Nou Station on the Tokimeki Railway Nihonkai Hisui Line is a 15-minute walk; by car it is about 5 minutes from the Nou IC on the Hokuriku Expressway.
