Summary
Held at Sakihana Onsen, located along the scenic Agano River in Niigata Prefecture. A nationally rare underwater fireworks festival where fireworks are launched while cruising the Agano River by boat. The half-moon shaped fireworks opening on the water's surface create a fantastical summer night atmosphere. Onsen guests and JR users can enjoy powerful fireworks up close from the special paid viewing area set up on the Agano River embankment. A photographer's seat (paid) will also be available in 2026.
