Summary

The Kawaguchiko Winter Fireworks is a fireworks event that colors the clear winter night sky with Mt. Fuji as a backdrop, held on Saturdays and Sundays from January 24 (Saturday) to February 22 (Sunday), plus February 23 (national holiday). Fireworks are launched simultaneously from three locations along Lake Kawaguchi starting at 8 PM for about 20 minutes. Oike Park serves as the main venue, with fireworks also launched from Tatamiiwa and Yagizaki Park, vividly coloring the lake surface. Relaxing in a hot spring after viewing is also popular.
