IMMERSIVE HANABI MAGIC 2026 富士山と山中湖の夜空
An all-paid-seating fireworks show at Yamanakako Communication Plaza Kirara in Yamanakako Village, Yamanashi, on 17 October 2026. Directed by Akira Hasegawa, a pioneer of projection mapping, roughly 10,000 shells fuse with light and video into what the organisers bill as the world's first immersive fireworks experience.
IMMERSIVE HANABI MAGIC 2026 FUJI YAMANAKAKO takes place on Saturday 17 October 2026, 18:30–19:30 (scheduled), at Kirara, the lakeside plaza overlooking Mt. Fuji and Lake Yamanaka. Gates open at 12:00. Directed by projection-mapping pioneer Akira Hasegawa, it is a one-night show in a new "immersive fireworks" format that merges fireworks with video art. About 10,000 shells are launched. Viewing is all-paid: a special reserved area with dedicated chairs (A seats, ¥30,000, 500 only), all-chair B seats at ¥12,000 (2,000 only), and C seats at ¥6,000 (2,000 only) in a free-viewing area that comes with a 1 m × 1 m leisure mat; SS box and S pair seats are also offered — see official channels. A highlight is the "digital upside-down fireworks" sequence, and a dedicated photography area is provided. Access is about 30 minutes by bus from Fujisan or Kawaguchiko Station on the Fujikyu Railway. Parking is paid and must be purchased in advance together with a viewing ticket.
The world's first immersive show fusing projection mapping and fireworks, with paid seating styles from reserved chairs to a free-viewing mat area.
