Summary

A traditional summer event in Shinano Town, Kamiminochi District, Nagano Prefecture, the Lake Nojiri Fireworks Display has been held since the mid-Taisho era. The lake is also known as Lake Fuyo because its shape resembles a lotus leaf. Over the lake, approximately 2,000 shells including underwater star mines and wide star mines are launched. The colorful fireworks illuminating the night sky beautifully reflect on the lake's surface, creating an enchanting and breathtaking atmosphere.
