Summary

[*Information updated for the 2026 season during the event period only. Details will be updated as they are decided for the upcoming event.*] A fireworks festival held in November in Nagano City, Nagano Prefecture — a rare time of year for such events nationwide. Begun in 1899 (Meiji 32), it boasts the history and tradition of Nagano, which developed as a temple town of Zenkoji Temple. Only skilled pyrotechnicians are allowed to participate, earning it the name 'Shusse Enka' (promotion fireworks), and it is still counted among the nation's premier events for launching high-quality fireworks.
