Summary
The Fuji Festival is a major summer event in Fuji City, held mainly at Central Park and the Aoba-dori in front of Central Park. The 2026 theme is 'Make a move 2026! ~A summer day created by everyone~'. Approx. 6000 shells of fireworks synchronized with music color the sky above the venue in vibrant hues, energizing the crowd. Paid special seating is available for a relaxed viewing experience. Various programs are also held, including the 'Citizens' Grand Dance' featuring the traditional Fuji-bayashi and FUJI Samba folk dances, as well as events planned and run by citizens.
