Summary

A fireworks festival held in Chuo Ward, Hamamatsu City, Shizuoka. Organized mainly by local neighborhood associations, it also carries wishes for lake water purification, nature conservation, and environmental protection. Approx. 1000 shells, including star mines and shakudama, are launched over a period of about 60 minutes. On the day of the event, traffic restrictions are in place near the clock tower at the launch site from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
