Summary
The Oigawa Grand Fireworks Festival held in Shimada City, Shizuoka, is a summer tradition that draws many visitors from within and outside the prefecture. Approx. 10000 shells are launched from both banks of the Oi River, a breathtaking spectacle that vividly illuminates the night sky. The Oi River riverbed venue offers wide, unobstructed views, allowing the fireworks to be enjoyed from any direction.
