Summary

A fireworks festival held in Hamamatsu City, Shizuoka, with the main highlight being a lake-surface star mine that resembles a peacock spreading its feathers. The event aims to be the best in Japan, and some visitors come solely to see this lake-surface star mine. Around the spectator seating area, there are plenty of other attractions including a tent village for food and drinks, a folk music live show hosted by the Hamanako Folk Jamboree, taiko drum performances, a raffle, and a flea market.
