An annual summer event held on the riverbed near Chitose Bridge on the Kano River in Izunokuni City, Shizuoka, featuring fireworks launched over approximately 20 minutes. The biggest appeal is the close proximity between the viewing area and the launch site, allowing spectators to feel the grand bursts of fireworks unfolding right overhead. The show includes spectacular music-synchronized displays, packing a dense and satisfying experience into a short time. Food stalls line the venue area, creating a lively festival atmosphere. A memorial service for the victims of the 1958 Kano River Typhoon is also held on the day of the event.
