The 49th Yumigahama Fireworks Festival

Summary

A fireworks festival held at Yumigahama, a beautiful beach selected as one of 'Japan's Top 100 Beaches.' Approximately 900 shells are launched into the night sky over about 20 minutes starting at 20:00. Launched right in front of the sandy beach viewing area, the fireworks are incredibly powerful. Star mines, maritime fan chrysanthemums, and set-piece fireworks vividly color the night at Yumigahama. The superb location unique to maritime fireworks and the large blossoms exploding directly overhead are truly spectacular.
