Summary

Held at Nihondaira in Shizuoka Prefecture, which is also selected as a Japan Night View Heritage site, this is Shizuoka City's annual fireworks festival. In 2025, the theme is 'History and Legend,' tracing the development of this region through fireworks. Approx. 12,000 shells are launched in one hour, with computer-controlled digital star mines coloring the night sky. The launch intervals are short, allowing visitors to enjoy a spectacular fireworks show combining fireworks, lighting, and music with a strong sense of presence.
