Gion Nojima Festival Fireworks Display

Summary

A fireworks display held in Minamichita Town, Chita District, Aichi Prefecture. The fireworks are launched from Shinojima, an island located just 4 kilometers offshore from the tip of the Chita Peninsula, delivering an overwhelming sense of power. The event also features a mikoshi parade by elementary school students, and at the Shinojima Fisheries Cooperative market, there are performances by nursery school and elementary school children, mochi throwing, and other events to enjoy throughout the day.
