Summary

Fireworks are displayed as part of the festival held at Toyokawa Susu Shrine in Toyokawa, Aichi. On Friday, July 17, 2026, enjoy mechanical fireworks and approx. 300 display shells, and on Saturday, July 18, enjoy hand-held fireworks (tezutsu hanabi) and rope fireworks (tsuna-bi), where pyrotechnics are launched along a taut rope. On Sunday, July 19, a traditional procession featuring gagaku court music and hidden drums performed by mountain performers leading the bamboo dance, the bamboo dance itself, and portable shrines (mikoshi) unfolds in classic style.
