Summary

A fireworks festival set at Miyoshi Pond in Miyoshi, Aichi. The Miyoshi Pond Festival, held in gratitude for the water of the Kiso River, features seven lantern-lit boats with 401 lanterns circling the pond as colorful fireworks are launched from its center. Organized by the Miyoshi Chamber of Commerce, the event features a variety of food stalls and food trucks. In 2026, additional launch sites will be added, offering an even more spectacular and powerful display than in previous years.

From Nagoya Municipal Subway Akachi-ike Station, take the Meitetsu bus (approx. 37 min bound for Toyotashi Station via Araya) to the Araya bus stop, then 10 min walk. From Meitetsu Toyota Line Miyoshi-ga-oka Station, take the Sansan Bus (approx. 26 min) to the Miyoshi Koen bus stop, then 10 min walk

Approx. 15 min from Tomei Expressway Miyoshi IC *Free shuttle buses run from Toyota Motor Corporation Takaoka Plant, Kaneyoshi Place, and Miyoshi Municipal Hokubu Elementary School. No general parking available around the venue on the day; traffic restrictions in effect. MAP
