Around 300 fireworks are launched from the hilltop Asuke Ground on Friday, August 14, 2026, 20:30–21:00, as part of the Asuke Summer Festival in Toyota City, Aichi Prefecture, an event tracing its roots to the Asuke Gion Festival. Because the launch site sits on high ground, the display can be watched from many corners of the old post town, with the riverside promenade and the bridges offering the best angles. On festival night, man tou lanterns float on the river and the tancorin white-walled storehouses along the old street are lit, wrapping the town in light. Paid parking (500 yen/day, 500 spaces) is available; by rail, take a taxi from Meitetsu Toyota-shi Station.

Paid parking offers 500 spaces at 500 yen per day, and food stalls are set up.
