The charm lies in the grandeur of the fireworks' light and sound reverberating across the sea, intermingling with the drumming and chan-chiki sounds of the Bon Odori and Kōwa Ondo. The fireworks, which can be seen up close, are launched without pause, vividly coloring the night sky over Kōwa Port.
