Overview
The venue sits in a small farming hamlet ringed by hills, which act as a natural sound chamber - the reports reverberate across the valley before fading. Because the launch site faces open paddy land, the view of the night sky is unobstructed. Access relies on a taxi of about 60 minutes from JR Hon-Nagashino Station on the Iida Line, and there is no parking at the venue, so plan the return trip as well. Viewing is free, with no stalls or paid seats.
