Summary
The Shinmaiko Beach Festival Fireworks Display, a quintessential summer tradition of Shinmaiko, is held in Chita City, Aichi Prefecture. Star mines launched from a barge and underwater star mines that take advantage of the seaside location vividly color the night sky and sea. Music fireworks synchronized with music are also launched. Starting around 4:00 PM before the launch, the "Shinmaiko Kitchen Garden" featuring local specialties and summer gourmet foods is also scheduled to be held simultaneously.
