Fireworks are launched on the first day of the Setomono Festival. The Setomono Festival has been held since 1932 (Showa 7) and is one of Japan's largest ceramics events, drawing crowds from across the country. The main "Setomono Grand Bargain Market" features approximately 200 pottery shops lining the Seto River. Whether you're a pottery connoisseur or a beginner, you're sure to find your favorite treasures.
