Summary

The 'Tsu Fireworks Festival' held in Tsu City, Mie Prefecture is a traditional fireworks festival that has continued since the Taisho era. With over 5,000 shells launched from Akogiura Beach, the festival features spectacular and creative displays including rainbow-colored fireworks and maritime fireworks shot from two boats racing across the sea. On the sandy beach of the viewing area, large-scale fireworks that seem to loom overhead envelop the audience, allowing them to experience the powerful displays up close.
